Fundraiser for Young Roots
Purchase my three limited edition prints for help raise funds for young refugees in London!
From 30th November to 7th December 2021, I asked you to consider ordering limited edition prints, which could be used to write on for gift cards or to give as an extra little gift on the side for your friends, family and others to frame. And instead of purchasing them, I encouraged you to donate to an appeal which was run by a charity that is really close to my heart. If you have followed me for a while on Instagram, you will know that one of the charities I adore is Young Roots.
I want to continue doing this fundraiser, with three limited edition prints ready to order!
The prints
There are 3 designs available. These will come as A5 one sided prints which can be used either as a print to give friends and family, or write on the back of as a card. They will come with white envelopes and be printed on luxury gesso paper.
I am going to try and be eco-friendly, so will use newspaper to wrap the prints plus some gold twine to wrap it altogether. So no cellophane bags will be used!
You can order them in packs of 5 or 10. Click on the images for a closer look at the prints and the names of them.
I know not everyone celebrates the festive season, so I hope there will be one print which you can find of use for other occasions throughout the year too!
I would suggest a minimum donation of £5 for the packs of 5 and £10 for the packs of 10 - remember, none of the donations will be going to me! It is all going towards a fantastic cause which helps wonderful young people in improving their wellbeing, accessing their rights and supporting them to fulfil their potential.
Standing with young refugees

Young Roots work with young refugees in London (aged 11-25), providing 1:1 casework support, organising sporting and youth activities, taking young people on trips, providing English language mentoring and so much more. Not only this, but they encourage young people to advocate for themselves whenever possible, so their voices will always lead the way they work. This includes having a young person in interview panels, to helping to organise outings.
Young Roots has trusted partners who also provide legal advice and therapeutic support - because they know the legal and social care systems in the UK are complex and this alongside social isolation and destitution (among other challenges) can cause so much stress and anxiety too.
How your donations will help
With negative narratives sweeping across mainstream media, plus the situation in Afghanistan growing more dire, it is becoming so much more important to create welcoming spaces for young people to feel safe and give them access to the activities and services they really need, when they need it. Whether it is asking for legal advice with asylum applications, learning English, taking part in creative workshops or asking for therapeutic support, the Advice and Support Hubs in Brent and Croydon can offer all of this. The services and activities Young Roots provide create spaces where community is key, and where young people can make friends, have fun and speak about the challenges they face openly while receiving positive support.
Your donations, whether it is £5 (which could go towards travel costs so a young person can access the Hubs) or £25 (where it could fund a 1:1 casework session) will allow Young Roots to continue standing up for young refugees.
The order form
Please use the form below to order your prints. You can order more than one pack of one design or multiple packs of different ones - completely up to you! There are limited supplies but I will update on here when packs have sold out.
You can suggest the pack size and quantity below, and the best contact email is required. Once submitted, I will be in touch within 24 hours to confirm your order, ask for your postal address (which will be fully confidential and password protected) and send you their donation page. Please do inform me once the donation is submitted and I will start to pack your order. No need to let me know the donation amount! Anything you can give will be hugely appreciated by Young Roots.
